Privacy Policy

The short version: your files never leave your device, we don't have accounts, and we use cookie-free analytics. There is very little data here to have a policy about — but here is the full picture.
Your files
Every tool on Every Format runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly. When you convert, inspect or edit an image, the file is read and processed on your own device. It is never uploaded, never stored on a server, and never seen by us or anyone else. The tools keep working if you go offline after the page loads — that is the proof.
This also applies to metadata the tools read from your files, such as camera settings or GPS coordinates: it is parsed and displayed locally and discarded when you close the page.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement tool. It uses no cookies, no localStorage, and no fingerprinting; it does not track you across sites or build a profile of you. It gives us aggregate numbers — which pages are visited and how the site performs — and nothing about who you are or what files you process.
Cookies
Every Format sets no cookies today. If we ever introduce advertising (for example Google AdSense), ad providers would use cookies; we would update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent through a certified consent management platform.
Map tiles
The photo-location and geotagging tools display maps using OpenStreetMap tiles. Your photo's GPS data is parsed locally, but loading the map itself sends standard web requests (your IP address and the coordinates of the visible map area) to OpenStreetMap's tile servers, governed by the OSM Foundation privacy policy. Tiles load only when you use those tools.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare's content delivery network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Email updates (optional)
If you subscribe to updates in the footer, we store your email address, the time you subscribed, and which page you subscribed from — nothing else. We use it only to announce new tools and product launches; it is never sold or shared. To be removed, email support@everyformat.com and we will delete your address.
If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can reply and improve the tools. We don't add you to any mailing list.
Changes
If our practices change — for example if we add advertising — we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
